With the widely used of fire protection clothing in oil and gas, chemical industry, fire fighting, offshore etc. More standards focused by more people.
Normal standards include NFPA standards and EN standards. NFPA standards are mainly NFPA 1971 and NFPA 2112. The basic requirements to fabric are below:
1.Average carbonization length less than 100mm
2.Average continued burning time less than 2s
3.When burning the fabric, it can not appear droplet.

EN standards normally are EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 14116, EN 469 etc. There are two types of fabric test. One is surface burning test, another is bottom combustion test.
I will introduce the surface burning test requirements:
1.After burning, any test sample can not burn to fabric edge or top.
2.Average continued burning time less than 2s
3.Average smoldering time less than 2s
4.When burning the fabric, it can not appear droplet.
